Zo worden granieten onderverdeeld in S-type, I-type, M-type, A-type en C-type (S-type is graniet omgevormd uit sedimentair gesteente; I) Type M is van magma oorsprong; Type M is van mantel oorsprong; Type A is watervrij graniet; C staat voor perillair graniet); of het kan worden onderverdeeld in calc-alkalisch, alkalisch, over-alkalisch, peraluminisch en aluminisch graniet; of volgens de structuur De achtergrond wordt verdeeld in \"orogene\" granieten (oceanische en continentale vulkaanbogen; continentale botsingszones), \"post-orrogene\" granieten (opheffings- of instortingsgebied na de orogene periode), en niet-\"orogene\" granieten (continentale rifts, hotspots, midocean Ridge, Ocean Island) enz.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The famous saying &quot;There are all kinds of granites&quot; originally proposed by HH Read in 1933.
