S\u00e3o de cor preta ou cinza-escura. A litologia \u00e9 densa, com clivagem em placas bem desenvolvida.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u00c9 comum encontrar uma pequena quantidade de sericita e outros minerais na superf\u00edcie da placa, o que confere \u00e0 superf\u00edcie um brilho ligeiro.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>N\u00e3o h\u00e1 recristaliza\u00e7\u00e3o evidente.
