A polished white floor can pass installation inspection and then disappear under plastic and boards for six weeks. When the covering comes off, damp rectangles, rusty specks, tape marks, and wheel scratches may follow its layout. White marble protection after installation<\/strong> fails when covering is treated as concealment rather than a managed system.<\/span><\/p>\n I divide the job into curing, initial cleaning, inspection, protection, controlled access, periodic checks, final cleaning, and handover. Each stage has a responsible person and an approved material. One roll of plastic cannot do all of them.<\/span><\/p>\n I keep the first uncovered photographs in the handover file. My later inspections use the same area codes and viewing positions, so we can tell when a new mark appeared instead of arguing from memory.<\/span><\/p>\n
