Production Process
- Quarry Block Extraction & Pre-Selection: We select high-quality intact raw blocks directly from Ukraine quarry. Our quarry inspection team carefully examines block integrity, checks hidden cracks, color consistency, crystal abundance and distribution uniformity before raw blocks are shipped to our processing factory. Blocks with natural fractures or uneven crystal layout will be rejected at this stage to guarantee the base quality of finished slabs.
- Slab Sawing: We use heavy-duty large diamond gang saw equipment to cut qualified raw blocks into standard thickness big slabs. Experienced workers sort finished slabs batch by batch according to color depth, crystal density and shimmer effect to match large engineering orders, minimizing color difference and crystal inconsistency across the whole project.
- Surface Processing Treatment: Carry out customized surface finishing as client requirements. For the popular polished finish, multi-head automatic polishing machine grinds slab surface step by step from coarse grit to fine grit, finally achieving mirror glossiness, which can fully display the sparkling blue crystal effect of Volga Blue. Other surface treatment options including honed, brushed, flamed, sandblasted and antique tumbled finish can be processed separately upon clients’ design demands.
- Strict Primary Quality Inspection: Our professional QC team inspects each slab one by one. We check slab flatness, surface cracks, pits, tiny holes, color shade variation and crystal distribution. Defective pieces will be sorted out and eliminated. Each qualified slab will be marked with unique serial number for full production traceability.
- Thickness Calibration & Precision Cutting: According to approved shop drawings, we use bridge cutting machine and CNC machining center to cut slabs into customized sizes, floor tiles, wall panels, countertops and stair treads. We conduct thickness calibration to guarantee uniform dimension tolerance, making sure all finished pieces fit perfectly during on-site installation.
- CNC Edge Fabrication: For countertop and vanity top products, CNC equipment processes different edge profiles including straight edge, 45-degree bevel edge, bullnose edge, ogee edge and laminated edge. Smooth edge treatment prevents cutting injuries and improves the overall delicate look of finished stone products.
- Final Re-inspection & Export Packing: Before packing, our QC team rechecks finished products’ dimension accuracy, surface quality and packing list once again. Slabs and cut-to-size pieces are wrapped with soft foam protective film, then firmly fixed inside fumigated wooden bundles or crates, to avoid collision, scratching and breakage during long-distance sea transportation.
