Production Process

1. Raw Block Screening: Our purchasing and QC team inspect mined raw blocks one by one, check internal integrity, color consistency and crack condition, eliminate defective blocks that fail to meet export standards.
2. Gang Saw Cutting: Qualified blocks are sent to gang saw machines, cut into slabs with controlled thickness tolerance, to guarantee uniform thickness of each batch of products.
3. Resin Repair & Back Reinforcement: Transparent high-performance stone resin is used to fill natural micro cracks on the slab surface; alkali-free fiber mesh is pasted on the back side for reinforcement, improving slab toughness and stability.
4. Surface Grinding & Finishing: Automatic grinding line conducts step-by-step fine grinding. We produce high-gloss polished surface as default, or adjust the grinding procedure to make honed, brushed, leathered and matte surface as requested by clients.
5. First-round Quality Inspection: Workers check slab flatness, gloss, thickness deviation, vein integrity, repair trace and surface scratches; disqualifed slabs will be separated out and reworked.
6. Slab Marking & Pattern Sorting: Label each qualified slab with serial number, dimension, finish and batch information. For matching wall projects, we arrange slabs and take layout photos for customer confirmation.
7. Precision Cutting & CNC Machining: Cut slabs into required tile sizes, or send to CNC machine for hole drilling, edge profiling, waterfall edge processing, curved shaping for countertops and special stone pieces.
8. Secondary Finishing & Cleaning: Polish the cutting edges, remove burrs, clean up dust and resin residue on finished products.
9. Final QC Before Packing: Recheck dimension tolerance, surface quality, hole position and edge effect, take photos and videos for customer pre-shipment inspection.
10. Export Packing: Wrap each slab or finished stone piece with thick EPE foam, separate every slab with foam pads, fix them tightly inside fumigated wooden crates with strapping, to avoid shifting, collision and chipping during sea transportation.

Q5: How do you pack marble to prevent damage in sea freight?
A5: We adopt standard export fumigated wooden crates. Every slab is wrapped with shockproof EPE foam, foam pads are placed between slabs, and the whole package is fixed with strong strapping inside the crate to prevent movement, collision and edge chipping during long ocean transit.
